Eastern Regional Sales Manager
Cambridge Sound Management is seeking a sales professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in commercial AV with manufacturer’s rep firms. This newly-created position will manage our network of independent manufacturer’s representatives throughout the Eastern United States.
We are interested only in top performers with proven success. The ideal candidate will live in the Eastern United States. Relocation to the Boston area is not required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and develop CSM’s network of manufacturer’s representatives throughout the eastern US.
- Manage sales leads to effectively track and support strategic development of firms.
- Develop and maintain forecast of sales opportunities.
- Provide timely and accurate account reporting in database.
- Travel domestically 60% of the time.
Required Qualifications:
A strong work ethic, efficiency, organization and attention to detail are imperative, along with:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) and technical aptitude
- Proven success in exceeding sales goals
- Ability to understand and strategically manage multi-party sales scenarios for larger sales
- Strong presentation skills along with the ability to train reps and make joint sales calls
- Ability to demonstrate and communicate the benefits of a technical product
- Proficiency in pipeline management, sales activity and forecasting
- Ability to take initiative and identify solutions efficiently and with good judgment
- Experience with sound masking, workplace acoustics, audio or technical products, or within the audio/visual market is a plus.
